Sam W. Hunsaker - Prinicipal

Prior to forming Maverick, Mr. Hunsaker was the founder of Hunsaker Property Company (HPC), formed in 1994, a Dallas based multifamily brokerage firm. Mr. Hunsaker has been personally involved in the brokerage of over 35,000 apartment units with a market capitalization of over one billion dollars. Mr. Hunsaker has also raised over 100 million of equity for his and other's investments. Mr. Hunsaker has resided in Dallas since 1980 and is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a major in finance. Mr. Hunsaker has been active in the real estate business in Dallas, Texas since his graduation from SMU in 1984. He has been married to his wife, Jan, for 20 years, and has two children. Mr. Hunsaker is passionate about the outdoors, spending much of his free time fly fishing, bird hunting, snow skiing, and golfing.
