Hard Money Loans

Maverick is actively looking to originate first lien hard money loans on well located real estate assets in the major Texas markets. We will look at all assets including land, but prefer loans to quality borrowers on well located cash flowing assets.


Fee Simple Acquitsitions

Maverick targets fee simple real estate acquisitions on opportunistic multifamily projects (typically 100 units or greater and 1980 or newer), retail centers, and well located land in the major markets of Texas as well as major markets in surrounding states. Maverick currently has substantial investments in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and North Carolina but will consider any compelling investment opportunity.


Distressed Debt Purchases

Maverick seeks to purchase distressed debt secured by well located multifamily, retail, or land assets. Maverick has extensive experience and a strong track record in the  purchase of non-performing debt.



Maverick will also purchase or recapitalize partnership interests of existing assets within the same property classes as above. This includes the purchase of general partner or limited partnership interests with management control or infusing new equity to recapitalize existing partnerships experiencing capital or partner challenges.
